Coming from godless Britain I was stunned by the power of the church in Poland, particularly it's blatant money grabbing. We're just passed Wszystkich ?wi?tych when, as I'm sure you know, it's standard practice to give the name of a deceased loved one to the local priest so that their name can be included in the mass; expect that if you don't put any cash in the envelope the name doesn't get on the list. I honestly could not believe this. I assumed that sort of thing had died out in the 15th century.</description>
